Blogging Tips: Get A Domain For Cheap, I Recommend NameCheap

Hi guys, I have been blogging for like 5 years already and I do successfully made money online through blogging. Yes, there are people who take blogging as their full time job but for me, it’s just like a part time job because I still have other things to do in real life like attending school. So the money I earned through blogging is like extra allowance to me.

A little advice to all new bloggers, all money making blogger wannabe, keep things slow and on a pace because when you want more, you desire for more, you tend to get lesser. Making money through blogging need a little bit of patience, it’s not one night event where today you start your blog, tomorrow your money is coming in. No, it isn’t, it takes a little bit of time to build up a base, then the structure then the money will come on a fix time basis.

So one blogging tips that I want to share today is get a domain name for yourself. Domain name is like my URL triple W dot I NICHOLAS dot NET (www.inicholas.net), so you are not running on a service like: xxx.blogspot.com, xxx.tumblr.com, xanga.com/xxx or whatever.

Although you need to pay for domain name, but it’s worth it in my opinion. Moreover it’s not expensive. It’s just 10US$ (approximately RM30+) per year which makes it 0.02cents per day. Don’t worry about hosting first, you can use your domain with free blog hosting like WordPress, Bloggger, Tumblr and more.

I have tried GoDaddy, MyDomain and NameCheap as my domain registrars before but so far, what I like is still NameCheap which offering the faster domain setup and the installation is easy. The pricing is also quite cheap too and you still can find coupon code online for discount. Although some say GoDaddy is cheaper, but then the service is kinda slow, you can try it and compare it though. As for MyDomain, don’t use it, it’s super duper slow.
