“OFFICIAL APP” Siri For Android Is Silly – Apple released the Siri on iPhone 4S makes many Android users envy and jealous about the feature. Many Android user are trying to find a similar app on the Android Market. There’s some alternative out there like IRIS and Speaktoit. However, if you try to search for Siri Android Market, you will find “Siri for Android” and plenty of fake version of it.
There’s one that is created by developer named “OFFICIAL APP” and which in turn confusing user to download it, and thought of talking to the Android phone. Officially, there’s no Siri For Android, Siri is only available on Apple iPhone 4S. The developer of Siri For Android is just trying to trap you into downloading the app, perhaps trolled you.
I have tried installing the app. It has a same official logo as the Siri on iPhone but once click, it doesn’t launch on my phone, some reporting it launches the Google Voice Search feature.
To stay on the safe side, do not download the app. I wonder why Google Android doesn’t QC applications that are submitted to the Android Market database. Hmm.
