Samsung Galaxy Ace Plus – Better & Redesigned, You Want? – Samsung Galaxy Ace has been a famous and affordable Android phone in their Galaxy line most probably because of the similar design to the Apple iPhone 4. Samsung now announces the new replacement which is the Samsung Galaxy Ace Plus with a new design and better hardware specs.
The Galaxy Ace Plus features a rounded edge and a slightly larger screen at 3.65-inch HVFA 320×480 resolution. It now runs on a 1GHz single-core processor with 512MB RAM (up from 800MHz and 278MB RAM in the original Galaxy Ace). It runs the Android 2.3 Gingerbread but not the Ice Cream Sandwich 4.0.
The camera is 5-megapixel with LED flash, has an internal memory of 3GB with microSD card slot. However the battery capacity decreases from 1,350mAh to 1,300mAh battery, I wonder why.
I am expecting it to launch somewhere in February and price will be less than RM1,000, somewhere around RM800, or less.
Main point, you want? If I want an affordable Android, I might consider.
