So here’s how to reformat and reinstall Mac OS on your MacBook, iMac, Mac Mini or Mac Pro. It’s very easy, you do not need to go into the boot menu.
- Insert Mac OS X disc that comes with your Mac.
- Backup important documents.
- Turn off your Mac. (Restart)
- Hold the ‘C’ key while turning on your Mac.
- Wait for the installation screen of Mac OS X.
- Follow the on-screen instruction.
- Grab a coffee, drinks, or do something and wait. It will takes about half an hour or more.
- Done.
