LG 5″ Optimus Vu – Kinda Weird Size But Cool – LG recently just introduced a new phone called the Optimus Vu which is a 5″ phone-tablet that comes with a stylus. This is said to be compete with the Samsung Galaxy Note.
The specs of Optimus Vu is it has 1.5GHz dual-core processor, 1GB or RAM, 32GB storage, 8-megapixel camera, 1.3-megapixel front faced camera, 2080mAh battery (lower than Galaxy Note’s 2500mAh) and runs on Android 2.3 Gingerbread and 5″ IPS screen.
The 5″ IPS screen is the main feature of the phone which has a 4:3 aspect ratio, boosting a 1024×768 resolution with a ppi of 256ppi. It weighs only 168g and slim at 8.5mm.
What I am feeling weird is the 4:3 aspect screen ratio. I wonder why not a wider aspect? Overall, the Samsung Galaxy Note with a 5.3″ screen is still a better tablet phone, what do you think?
