Playing Fruint Ninja On Kinect Must Be Tired - The famous and one of the top game on the iPhone, iPad and iPod touch is now available on your TV with the Xbox 360 Kinect. Finally, Nintendo has announced their latest console, the Nintendo Wii U, upgrading from the previous successful Nintendo Wii. Nintendo Wii is one of Nintendo most successful product, which influences the Microsoft and Sony to create the Kinect and PlayStation Move.

The announcement was one of the best E3 2011 news but then there’s no real game demo on show floor and the console will officially release in 2012. The biggest upgrade is the Wii U controller which features a 6 inch touch screen and the graphic processing unit is powered by AMD, capable of producing 1080p graphic through HDMI cable.

Another thing is that the Wii U will be using their own disc format, not Blu-Ray nor DVD, which has a capacity of up to 25GB.

The concept of Wii U controller is to allow user to get closer to the game and get personal like when someone wants to use the TV, the game can be continue through the controller. You can also surf the Internet, draw and make video call on this tablet controller. Kinda weird approach but I am pretty excited to see how it does when it’s released.

I am not a gaming person, but due to boredness, I went to look around the Game section in the Android Market app store and downloaded a few games. One of which is Toss It.

Your aim is to toss the paper or other junk into the dustbin. Very simple. It requires touch and a little bit of angle thinking because there’s fan which disturbs your tossing. Unfortunately, this game doesn’t use the accelerometer built in your phone. Yet, it’s still a good time-waster while you’re on the cab, bus or train.

Though, things don’t come to an end so fast. I have actually found guide on the net on how to watch MKV video on PS3. It’s pretty simple, convert it to a PS3 compatible format then transfer it to the PS3 then you are ready to go.

Some people are worried of video quality would be downgraded during the conversion but if you use the right software, it won’t. So the software is called mkv2vob, it’s a freeware, download it, convert it, transfer it.

Browse for your MKV file and select your destination directory which is also the output folder.

If your PS3 doesn’t connect to a amplifier via S/PDIF digital cable, you may not hear DTS surround sound, so you have to CHECK “Always Transcode DTS”.

On the other hand, if you want to transfer your file via a flash drive or portable HDD, you need to split your file. Sucks right? It’s because that PS3 only recognizes FAT32 format and the problem is you can’t transfer any file larger than 4GB into a FAT32 formatted HDD.

Unless that you have your PS3 connected into your network, you need not split it, you can just stream directly or just copy from your network.

As for me, my PS3 is not connected into my home network, my house runs wireless and it’s not capable for HD streaming. My method of watching MKV video without splitting is by burning the converted video into a dual layer 8.5GB DVD+/-R.
