Oh my god! You hear me right! The latest Nokia X6, first Nokia media phone with capacitive touchscreen will be selling at only RM66 (19.30USD!) at the launch party which happening on the 29th January 2010 at Bukit Kiara Equestrian Club Indoor Arena!
It’s not all yet! Boys Like Girls will be there, Khalil Fong will be there! And other artist too! I like Khalil Fong a lot. =)
Unfortunately, I am so far away from the location, I stay in Penang, somewhere 400km away from the venue and unless there’s sponsor want to cover my transportation and accommodation, only then I can go cover the event for you. I so wish that I could be in the line and buy a phone for such a low price and meet up with Boys Like Girls and Khalil Fong. OMG!
Rumors have been circulating around the Internet, blogs, twitter this few weeks about the tablet that will be announcing my Apple. Every year, at this time of the year, Apple will have an Apple event, announcing their latest stuff. Mostly, this time will be more on software and a little on hardware, probably not iPhone or iPod.
So, Apple maybe talking about
the iPhone’s carrier.
the iPhone OS 4.0.
Apple Tablet! (named iPad? iSlate?)
In addition, I hope they will update the line of MacBooks with new processor. Very excited about it. The live coverage will be cover by a few tech blog tomorrow at 1am Malaysian Time (28th January 2010) or 10am Pacific Time (27th January 2010).
Now many people keep on talking about the Google Nexus One and the iPhone 3GS is still always a hit. Nokia N900 was once very anticipated and now getting quiet already, seldom hear people talk about it or read about it.
Though, it’s not out yet, only that it keeps quiet and turned on silent mode, it still vibrates. Some hacker installed Android OS on the Nokia N900 and it dual boot Maemo and Android too! A little bit cool, but I prefer running just one OS. The most important of all still is SPEED!
What this tell us is not running Android on N900, it is telling us that Maemo on N900 is open source, and it is possible to run other OS.
Google have this video of the unboxing of their Nexus One. Seeing a 3 ninja chopping off the box of Nexus One to unveil what’s inside. Seems like there’s no manual. I find it quite lame and funny.
Google Nexus One is a “superphone” marketed and released by Google. Yes, you hear me right, the people at Google called it the superphone instead of a smartphone or iPhone killer. Google does not manufacture the hardware but they partner with Taiwan-based HTC to release this mobile phone and everything are marketed and branded under Google.
When it’s Google, it’s Android and it’s the latest Android 2.1, only on Nexus One at this short moment. I believe there will be a 2.1 update very very soon for other Android hardware.
I am quite interested in this phone because it’s running on the 1GHz Snapdragon processor (same as the HD2) and sounds like faster than the iPhone and the Motorola Droid, the real speed need to be determine after some times of usage first.
After seeing many photos of the phone, it looks good, sounds good, seems good, but the one problem is how do I get it? Google is selling it online, they don’t have any concept stall and soon will be going into some major company like Best Buys and via telco’s shop.
The latest source is that the nearest country that will getting the Nexus One is Singapore, then Hong Kong. Phone demand in Malaysia is low especially an Android device. Hopefully someone here will bring in the Nexus One or else I’ll ask my brother to get me one in Singapore.
I want to wait for it, gonna put iPhone, Motorola Droid or the N900 back, guess I’ll switch from Symbian to Android now. =)
I don’t know have you heard about the new Nintendo DSi XL or not. DSi have just out for not a long time only and the Japanese Nintendo guy now have a upgrade of the Nintendo DSi, calling it the Nintendo DSi LL (in Japan) or Nintendo DSi XL (rest of world) which feature a huge huge 4.25inch screen, now it’s larger than the PSP (Go or no Go).
Somehow, I still prefer them to release a new one with hardware upgrade, better graphic, better camera, better processor. I know the games are addictive, but then it will not last for a long long time.
The big screen Nintendo DSi XL is now out in Japan, soon to be released in United State and Europe in early 2010, no idea about Malaysia release but you may start seeing it on our local game store’s shelf, for sure there would be parallel import. Mine DS Lite was a parallel import too and doing great till now. So folks out that thinking of getting a DSi, do hold back and get the XL, bigger screen means more fun!
