iPad 3 Rumors: Announces On First Week March 2012 - Here’s the latest rumor about the new Apple iPad 3 and that is Apple may announces about it on the first week of March 2012. Initially, it’s expected to be announced on by end of February but the latest rumor is on first week of March, same like the iPad 2 last year.

So what can you expect for the Apple iPad 3? Well, it will be the same design, a super high resolution and powerful RETINA display, longer battery usage, more powerful CPU and GPU with faster chip.

Pretty interesting right? But I also hope they will upgrade the camera of iPad too so it can be a better large screen shooter.

Let’s wait for the first week of March to arrive, are you excited now?

Huawei Honor In Malaysia At RM1,099 – Huawei Honor is the latest Android smartphone by Huawei and is now available in Malaysia. The phone, Huawei Honor is an affordable mid-range smartphone that is Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich-ready.

It features a 16M 16:9 true colour high-definition 4-inch FWVGA capacitive touch screen and powered by a high capacity 1,930mAh battery. It runs on a 1.4GHz processor. The rear shooter is an 8-megapixel HDR-enabled camera, whereas the front face camera is a 0.3-megapixel camera. The design is pretty sleek and sports a 10.9mm thin body and weighs about 140g.

Unfortunately, it’s shipped with Android 2.3.5 Gingerbread and Ice Cream Sandwich 4.0 is expect to be released by Q2 of 2012.

The phone is priced at RM1,099 and you can find the list of available outlets selling the phone on Huawei’s Facebook page.

Well, I think that this phone is a not-bad and affordable Android phone which sports a decent-powerful hardware, just without the dual-core. The 8-megapixel camera, 4-inch screen and ICS-ready make it one of the attractive mid-range Android phone out there. If you ask whether I want it or not, I would save more money and get the best and highest-end mobile phone out there. I don’t want to stuck at something in the middle range. My 2 cents. It’s up to your budget for a mobile phone, for a mid-range, powerful, and affordable price, Huawei Honor is a good one.

This could be bad if the bill is passed because you will not be able to access many website on the Internet that provides free information. Internet is supposed to be free and open to everyone. They can’t just block people from accessing free material. It’s just so wrong. Wikipedia English site has blacked out for a day to raise awareness on this. Many people are making a buzz on the Internet for not able to access Wikipedia.

Get FREE MiFi With Maxis 6GB Broadband Plan – Now Maxis is giving out FREE Huawei MiFi modem (worth RM280) when you subscribe to their 6GB Broadband Plan at RM98 per month (RM88 per month for Maxis Postpaid user) on a 12-months contract basis.

ASUS Eee Pad Transformer Prime Is Cool! Coming 18th January 2012 In Malaysia – All the while, I thought that the coolest tablet on earth is the Apple iPad with a huge IPS screen, long battery life and dual-core. But now, the ASUS Eee Pad Transformer Prime is even cooler, I wonder why the long name?

Let’s get into the hardware specs. The Eee Pad Transformer Prime has the world’s first Quad-core NVIDIA Tegra 3 processor with 1GB RAM. The display is a 10.1 inch SuperIPS+ display. The rear camera is a 8-megapixel camera with LED flash and front face camera is a 1.2-megapixel shooter for video call and self-shot. The built quality is great, it’s a metal unibody design with thickness at only 8.3mm thin!

According to Asus, battery life last up to 12 hours and 18 hours when dock on the special keyboard dock that comes with the device. The keyboard dock serves as extra battery, physical keyboard, SD and USB input, as well as a touch pad. This turns the Transformer Prime into a netbook.

The ASUS Eee Pad Transformer Prime will be available in Malaysia on 18th January 2012 and priced at RM2,199 for the 32GB NON-3G model. Currently, there’s no news about 3G model, but expected to be released soon.

One more thing, the OS of the tablet is the Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich.

This tablet is so cool and tempting to me, the only thing that set me back is no 3G included. I found that the keyboard dock is very useful too and I need not to bring a heavy laptop out with me to travel. What do you think?

Better Android Apps Design Soon With Android Design Website – Being an Android user, I admit that many of the third party apps looks ugly. Undeniable that the ugliest app on iOS looks better than Google Android’s typical third party app, probably most of the iOS has the standardize “iOS” design.

Google just announced the website – Android Design, a website that guide apps developer on making their apps look beautiful and cool. It provides graphic idea to apps developer with less graphical mind and serve as a guide while developing Android app.

With this new Android Design website, hopefully the future apps will looks better on the Android.

Celcom Unveils Galaxy Nexus Plan, Phone Starting RM1,348 – Celcom finally unveils the Samsung Galaxy Nexus Android phone plan and pricing, which phone starting from RM1,348. Currently, it’s only DiGi and Celcom offers Galaxy Nexus with call + data plan in Malaysia with the phone at a subsided price.

The phone by Celcom is cheaper at RM50 than the one offer by DiGi and a shorter contract period at 18 months.

Today, Friday is the launch of Galaxy Nexus in Malaysia and some DiGi user has already received their unit via online pre-order. As for Celcom, you will have to head over to the nearest Celcom outlet to get your unit.

So far, I do not find it’s cool as it doesn’t shows the new UI of the Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich fully. It’s still hidden below Samsung’s very own TouchWhiz UI. Even though the feature of Android 4.0 can be seen in this TouchWhiz-ed firmware, yet I personally the original Android 4.0 which I think the UI is beautiful and simple.

Huawei Ascent – The World’s Slimmest Smartphone – Wow, Huawei just unveils the world’s slimmest Android smartphone at thinnest point only 6.68mm thin at the CES 2012 event. Mobile smartphone is getting slimmer and slimmer day by day, Samsung Galaxy S2 and the Apple iPhone 4 were thin bt now there’s the thinnest one by the Chinese company – Huawei Ascent P1 S.

The Huawei Ascent P1 S features a huge 4.3-inch Super AMOLED touchscreen with Corning Gorilla Glass with display resolution of 960×540. It runs on a fast dual-core 1.5GHzx TI OMAP 4460 Cortext-A9 processor and comes with the latest Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich operating system. Besides that, the rear shooter sports a 8-megapixel BSI camera with dual flash LED and HDR optimization, as well as the front shooter is a 1.3-megapixel HD camera. To make it simple is that it allows you to capture photos in a sharper, brighter and clearer detail in low light condition (sounds impressive?).

Well, there’s no LTE connectivity in the phone but the hardware specs seems attractive, as well as the pre-loaded of Android 4.0 ICS. There’s no pricing detail yet, but will be release somewhere around April 2012 globally.
