Free McDonalds Voucher Facebook Scam – Today, I received many invitation in Facebook asking me to invite friends to the page in return that I will get McDonald’s voucher. The value of voucher depends on the number of invite I’ve sent. So, I want to share with you guys that it’s actually a scam and don’t waste your time on it. Although you won’t lose anything, but you will waste your time asking your friend to visit that page.

If you follow the instruction and hoping to get some McDonald’s voucher, you will end up on a survey site which is useless. Don’t fall for the scam and good luck.

New Twitter Welcome Screen – Haven’t use the Twitter web interface for quite some times and only now I know that they have changed their welcome screen to become more stylish and cool. Instead of intro Twitter about telling what people you are doing, Twitter is more about what’s happening with people and organizations.

Try Messages App From OS X Mountain Lion Now – The new version of OS X is coming, and it’s called the Mac OS X Mountain Lion. Apple is now calling the OS X instead of Mac OS X. Sounds cool, they are trying to differentiate betweet Mac hardware and OS X software.

One of the feature in the coming OS X Mountain Lion is the Messages app which eliminates iChat and bring iMessage and several other chat service like AIM, Yahoo! Google Talk and Jabber accounts under one app to Mac computer.

- Send unlimited iMessages to any Mac, iPad, iPhone, or iPod touch.
- Start an iMessage conversation on your Mac and continue it on your iPad, iPhone, or iPod touch.
- Send photos, videos, attachments, contacts, locations, and more.
- Launch a FaceTime video call and bring the conversation face-to-face.
- Messages supports iMessage, AIM, Yahoo!, Google Talk, and Jabber accounts.

I am trying it now and it’s kinda cool and fast. I can now iMessage with my iPhone friend and FaceTime video under one app. Download the Messages app here to try out now.

How To Download American TV Series Via BitTorrent – Living in Malaysia, US TV series is very slow, slow as in it only shows here after a few months of premiere in the States. So I have to go online to get updated with the latest TV series. Last time, I used Chinese streaming app PPS.tv to watch US TV series but later then they have removed it from their playlist, due to copyright issue.

That doesn’t prevent me from watching my favourite American TV series, I am now downloading them via BitTorrent and my US TV series torrent all come from this site – EZTV.it. In this post, I want to teach you how to use BitTorrent (BT) to download the TV series.

The BitTorrent client I am using is uTorrent. It’s available on Mac and Windows.

1. So firstly, download uTorrent and install it.

2. After you have installed uTorrent, head over to EZTV.it to look for your favourite American or UK TV series.

3. Click on the download icon that shows a download arrow on the right next to a magnet icon.

4. When prompt where to save your download, click Open with, and choose uTorrent as your client.

5. uTorrent will now run on your computer and ask you where to save your download. Pick your location and click OK.

6. Your TV series is downloading, wait for it to complete and enjoy!

Simple right? This is how you download US American TV series via BitTorrent. Good luck.

Play Cut The Rope On Web Browser – The famous mobile game that top the Android and iOS downloads – Cut The Rope is now available on your computer desktop via HTML5 web browser.

The game is about the little monster that hide in a package and you are require to deliver the candy to the little monster. It is said that browser version of the game is best to play with Internet Explorer, but then it runs smoothly on my Firefox too.

Official Wikipedia For Android Available Now – The official Wikipedia for Android app is finally here and you can do your homework, research and just read the open encyclopedia on your mobile on the go now. Previously, all the Wikipedia app on the Android Market are from the third-party.

The app is free and you can save an article for offline reading later and search articles which is nearby to your location. You can also share the articles you are reading to your friend using the Android’s built-in “Share” function. To gain more knowledge, I highly recommend this Wikipedia for Android app.

Flickr & Wikipedia Anti-SOPA – SOPA (The Stop Online Piracy Act) and PIPA (The Protect IP Act) are currently the two baddass-es in the Internet world. U.S. anti-piracy legislation is planning to bill the SOPA and PIPA which will blocked and censored many websites on the Internet.

This could be bad if the bill is passed because you will not be able to access many website on the Internet that provides free information. Internet is supposed to be free and open to everyone. They can’t just block people from accessing free material. It’s just so wrong. Wikipedia English site has blacked out for a day to raise awareness on this. Many people are making a buzz on the Internet for not able to access Wikipedia.

My Flickr account has blacken out too, but I can choose not to black out my photo.

Facebook Chat On Windows With Messenger for Windows – Are you a frequent user of the Facebook Chat? Now you don’t have to turn on your browser, go to Facebook.com to chat with you friend. You can download the Facebook’s Messenger for Windows, which is a standalone app that you can install on your Windows system and chat with your friends.

The Messenger for Windows includes the chat system, notification system and friend request, it’s just like Facebook ported into an application. UI doesn’t change a bit from the Facebook, so nothing to fancy much about it. It also has pop-up notification to show your Facebook activity like who like or post on your wall, status, photos and more.

One more thing, I find the UI quite boring, despite having a standalone app, it should somehow has a different standalone design.
