Sony Tablet S (16GB WiFi) – RM1,499 Sony Tablet S (32GB WiFi) – RM1,799 The tablet features a 9.4″ screen, runs on dual-core 1GHz Tegra 2 processor, 1GB RAM and weighs 598g. The thickness is different at two point of the tablet, the thinnest point at 10.1mm and the thickest point is 20.6mm which is rather thick. It’s running on Android Honeycomb 3.2 and ICS Android 4.0 update will be coming in soon. The back shooter is a 5-megapixel camera and front faced camera is a 0.3-megapixel camera. With the pre-order of the tablet, you will get an exclusive ST Slip Case that is worth RM139. Head over to Sony’s website for more information. My 2 cents: This tablet is quite pretty in term of design as well as the specs, however what I don’t like is the thick design.
DiGi Interactive Ghost Video Is Cool And Scary – DiGi just made a very cool and scary interactive video to promote their current DiGi Gila Internet Sale. The Youtube video is interactive where you need to click on the next task for the subject to do. In this video, you will follow the story of J.P. who was surfing the net at late night, then he encounter a ghost in his house. As the story goes on, he take out his Samsung Galaxy S2 to shoot video or upload video about the ghost and which you can choose which task he should do and each leads to a different ending. Very fun, very funny and also a little bit scary. I think it’s super cool!

One more thing, the OS of the tablet is the Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich.

This tablet is so cool and tempting to me, the only thing that set me back is no 3G included. I found that the keyboard dock is very useful too and I need not to bring a heavy laptop out with me to travel. What do you think?

Lower Monthy Mobile Internet Plan By Maxis – The reason I went to DiGi last time is because DiGi has cheaper data plan at RM68/month for 3GB data. Now I can consider switching back to Maxis because their 3GB data plan has reduced price from RM88 to RM68. Maxis has just revised their Mobile Internet Package, all at a lower rate. Good news for Maxis user, however you will still get extra charges when you excess your allowed quota at RM0.30/MB compare to previously RM10/MB, which is a lot cheaper now. Somehow, I think Maxis should cap speed instead of charging extra for excess usage. Anyway, considering Maxis has a wide 3G coverage, the revised Mobile Internet Plan is worthwhile. Head over to Maxis website to check out more about it. [via]
