Smartphone vs Tablet / Galaxy Tab 7.7 vs Galaxy Nexus – Samsung now has many different size of tablet, mobile phone and mobile phone + tablet devices for you to choose from, like the Galaxy Tab 7.0 Plus, 7.7, 8.9, 10.1, Galaxy Nexus, Galaxy Note, Galaxy S2.

The variety of size makes choosing your ideal a bit difficult. Bigger size makes reading and surfing the web comfortable but the portability become poor. Check out this video to see the Galaxy Tab 7.7 vs the Galaxy Nexus.

For me, owning both will be the best of both world.

Hong Kong Funny Galaxy Nexus Video Ads – Call Me Galaxy Nexus – Was reading one of my favourite tech blog and the blog shared about the Samsung Galaxy Nexus video ad in Hong Kong – Call Me Galaxy Nexus.

The ads features the Indian-Hongkie comedian, Vivek Mahbubani who shows you the features of Galaxy Nexus, at the same time being sarcasm about other phone like iPhone and standard candy bar phone. Very funny, very sarcastic, yet I think it’s creative. Samsung is getting more and more bad boy right now.

By the way, the video however is in Hong Kong’s Cantonese language.

DiGi Interactive Ghost Video Is Cool And Scary – DiGi just made a very cool and scary interactive video to promote their current DiGi Gila Internet Sale. The Youtube video is interactive where you need to click on the next task for the subject to do.

In this video, you will follow the story of J.P. who was surfing the net at late night, then he encounter a ghost in his house. As the story goes on, he take out his Samsung Galaxy S2 to shoot video or upload video about the ghost and which you can choose which task he should do and each leads to a different ending.

Very fun, very funny and also a little bit scary. I think it’s super cool!

ASUS Eee Pad Transformer Prime Is Cool! Coming 18th January 2012 In Malaysia – All the while, I thought that the coolest tablet on earth is the Apple iPad with a huge IPS screen, long battery life and dual-core. But now, the ASUS Eee Pad Transformer Prime is even cooler, I wonder why the long name?

Let’s get into the hardware specs. The Eee Pad Transformer Prime has the world’s first Quad-core NVIDIA Tegra 3 processor with 1GB RAM. The display is a 10.1 inch SuperIPS+ display. The rear camera is a 8-megapixel camera with LED flash and front face camera is a 1.2-megapixel shooter for video call and self-shot. The built quality is great, it’s a metal unibody design with thickness at only 8.3mm thin!

According to Asus, battery life last up to 12 hours and 18 hours when dock on the special keyboard dock that comes with the device. The keyboard dock serves as extra battery, physical keyboard, SD and USB input, as well as a touch pad. This turns the Transformer Prime into a netbook.

The ASUS Eee Pad Transformer Prime will be available in Malaysia on 18th January 2012 and priced at RM2,199 for the 32GB NON-3G model. Currently, there’s no news about 3G model, but expected to be released soon.

One more thing, the OS of the tablet is the Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich.

This tablet is so cool and tempting to me, the only thing that set me back is no 3G included. I found that the keyboard dock is very useful too and I need not to bring a heavy laptop out with me to travel. What do you think?

Triumph Of The Nerds – Another Steve Jobs Related Documentary – Found another documentary related on my favorite tech person – Steve Jobs and it’s The Triumph Of The Nerds: The Rise of Accidental Empires. This documentary film is a 3-part TV films that was released in 1996 before Steve Jobs returns to Apple to become the CEO. He was still the CEO of NeXT Computer Inc back then.

“Picasso had a saying. He said, good artists copy, great artists steal. And we have always been shameless about stealing great ideas.” – Steve Jobs in Triumph of the Nerds: The Rise of Accidental Empires.

The film is about the rise of the two tech company – Microsoft and Apple in the mid-90′s. Even if you are not a nerd or geek, this documentary is a good watch in my opinion. Enjoy.

Samsung Ad Uses Actress From Apple iPhone’s Ad – Apple is a great re-inventor and Samsung is a great copycat. Although Samsung is a copycat, yet I very salute them because they dare to copy, they copy the design of iPhone and put it on their Galaxy device, they copy the UI and make their own TouchWiz, they copy the iPad Smart Cover and make the same for Galaxy Tab 10.1 and now they uses the actress from the Apple iPhone’s advertisement and create a similar advertisement for their Galaxy Tab 8.9.

Well, the little girl in the two video advertisements is the same person. The style and the way the advertisement was film is almost identical too! The only thing difference is the Korean narration in the Samsung video.

You try to have fun with me, you try to win against me, you ask me millions of questions, you sit on my lap, you want to stay beside me all the time, strangely, when I stay with you time passes very quickly. This is a precious time.

Cute Video Of Galaxy Nexus Face Unlock – Face Unlock is something interesting, although you can trick it with a photo, but it’s still a fun thing to play with your mobile phone. Just like Siri, not perfect, yet fun. The video shows a kid tries to unlock the Galaxy Nexus but failed to get pass the Face Unlock.
