Opera Mobile 9.5 said to be better than Safari

Opera will be releasing its new mobile web browser soon, the Opera Mobile 9.5 for the PDA and smartphone platform. Some had tried it during this year’s Mobile World Congress and according to Matt from The Mobile Gadgeteer, he loves it and says it’s better than the iPhone.

After watching the demo video, I pretty agree with him, just without the pinching on screen. Best part of all is, you can select text, copy and paste, save pages, images and even email single images from a page which at the moment not available in the iPhone and iTouch’s web browser. Safari need to do some work of improvement already. Do you hear me Steve?

Provoke’s 2012 mobile phone concepts

Provoke Design is one of Nokia’s main design contractors in Finland. Recently, they are having a exhibition in New York City which show off their 2012 vision of mobile phone concept and design. Check out the video below which features the 2012 mobile concept.

You will be now wondering what on earth is this? It doesn’t look close to any mobile phone on the market right now. It’s glow in the dark! Though, who knows maybe it’s the phone of the future? Is that really a phone?

Sony Ericsson’s new phone coming soon

An untitled promotional video has been spotted in YouTube which feature not 1 but 2 of the unknown phone from Sony Ericsson. What can be clearly notice is Sony Ericsson’s unknown phones feature a touch screen which is most likely to be joining the touch screen trend emerge by Apple. Everybody loves touch screen interaction now and so am I. One of the phone looks like Xperia but no slideout keyboard is reveal in the video, only plenty of touching and interaction between multimedia, data sharing and video call.

Mac Desktop turns into a Music Video

Was surfing around some tech portal and found a very cool music video featuring the Mac OS. It’s so different from the music video in MTV where it’s real video shoot while this is more likely a screenshot video of the Mac desktop apps. Check this out, it’s made by Dennis Liu for the song “Again and Again” by Bird and The Bee.

Geeks must have, M800 Watch Phone

Do you want to be the next James Bond? Call your mate with your watch. LOL. People will think you are crazy when you are talking to your watch but it maybe real. The Chinese is real genius in creating these watch phone. Many years ago I read about Samsung was planing a watch phone but I never heard about it until now.

Though, the M800 isn’t a fake. I was first came across it at Docfiles and was feeling excited about it for the first time because the main factor of the plus point for this watch phone is the price, it’s only RM550 and around US$170 if you look for it in eBay.

Since it’s a watch, I can wear it to school and disguise as a normal Casio watch. In Malaysia, student can’t bring cell phone to school which really sucks. When we want to inform our parents something, or the time the school dismisses, we have to use the crappy public pay phone. I would update my Twitter in school if I wear this watch phone to school.
