Successfully updated my WordPress to 2.7. (The biggest difference is the new blogging interface, it’s totally new.) I have onced update via Fantastico, 4 blogs went smoothly, 2 blogs went down with nothing on the site. I had to Google Cache everything, copy and paste to recover my blogs. Then I tried updating by uploading new file too, it’s more safe than via Fantastico. The easiest way is to update via WordPress Automatic Upgrade Plugin that I am using for all my blogs now. Easy, fast, safe and backup your database.
