After searching around for so long for a external battery pack, finally I found Chinese made MiLi at Switch World Expo that held at Gurney Plaza lately. I wanted an external battery pack to charge my phones, the Nexus One and Nokia N95 8GB when they run out of battery. I feel that having an external battery pack is better than swapping battery because swapping battery need to power it off and on again, very troublesome.

But with an external battery pack, it’s different. Just plug it into the phone it will charged like from the power at home.

It’s actually a rechargeable battery which can be charged then output with a USB and then connect it to any of your gadget device. You can charge your iPhone or whatever thing with the USB. It’s very easy to use too. There’s two color, black and white and I picked up the blacked one.

Opening up the box, there’s the little battery pack, it’s very small and very light, come with a pouch, USB cable and a few connectors for your phone and gadget.

It’s a finger print magnet with it sleek glossy surface. A full charged of the MiLi will allow you to charged your iPhone for 2-3 times. I uses it on my Nexus One though. Very easy to use too. Pressing on the center button will indicates how much battery is left. If the blue LED is on, means there’s still power.

Just plug it into your phone, then press the center button, it will start charging your mobile phone or gadget. One thing, the charging is very fast, it’s a lot faster than the power from your computer’s USB.

Good buy and I bought this form RM129 (around US$39).

An Asian version of PlayStation 3 40GB. I am not really interested with the games, he got Grid, Assassin Creed, Dragonball, Civilization, Tom Clancy:Hawk, Fifa Street 2, Army of 2 and Lumines Supernova and Flower in the hard disk. I like Flower and Luminues Supernova, it’s mini game and simple which = to fun.

The TV is a Samsung 32″ 720p HD TV, unfortunately it’s not full HD.

White 2.4Ghz MacBook. It’s an all time beauty. I love Mac but I am still waiting to get one. Perhaps I will have one when I go into college next year. The clock is a Pixel Saturn II clock what I bought in Guangzhou for 190RMB. Pretty right?

Here’s another Chinese gadget that my dad bought from Shenzhen recently. This is actually a clip-able pinhole video camera which what the Chinese called it the MP9 or Chewing Gum. According to the seller, this is use for people to record talking during meetings or lectures. However, to me, it’s more like a spy cam.

The camera is hidden in the tiny little whole at the back. With a push of a button, it will start recording the video and save in AVI format. It’s not easy to use though, pretty hard to understand the LED which either mean Pause, Standy or Recording. But after going through the manual for several times, I know how it works already.

I’ll say this is just a toy, it’s not something useful. The bad part of this thing is bad sound recording quality and the AVI recorded video cannot be edited in Windows Movie Maker. It’s selling like around 150RMB with 2GB built in memory and expandable with microSD card.

My dad went to Shenzhen lately and bought home some Chinese made gadget. One of which he bought is this MP5 portable media player. It’s brandless or in fact the brand and model name is MP5. Very funny.

It looks pretty with a large 2.7 screen but not a touch screen., the screen is quite plastic which I feel that it will be cracked easily. Though the colour on the screen is pretty and the interface too. The buttons are all located on the side and is not difficult to navigate around the menu.

It has a 2GB memory which plays mp3, wma, avi, jpg, txt files for eBook and even Real Media format files (rmvb). There’s also FM radio and a voice recorder feature. It’s a cheap media player which cost around US$30 but there’s some cons about this are, cheap built quality, slow interface and sound quality is not as nice as the iPod.
