iPhone Green Screen Of Death – I am using an Apple iPhone 3GS, running on 5.0.1, jailbroken with Redsnow and yesterday I occurred the green screen of death! I was sorry cause I did not encounter any of this before except black screen and my iPhone just sent for service not long ago. I thought it was faulty due to jailbreak process or a broken LCD.

After Googling around, the green screen actually represent the battery icon when you are charging at 0% battery. This means that the iPhone’s battery is dead. It’s some bug in the iPhone firmware.

It’s easy to fix this problem, just plug into an electrical outlet, computer recommended with the iPhone USB cable, and let it charge. It will turn back on when it reaches 6% battery.

Hong Kong Funny Galaxy Nexus Video Ads – Call Me Galaxy Nexus – Was reading one of my favourite tech blog and the blog shared about the Samsung Galaxy Nexus video ad in Hong Kong – Call Me Galaxy Nexus.

The ads features the Indian-Hongkie comedian, Vivek Mahbubani who shows you the features of Galaxy Nexus, at the same time being sarcasm about other phone like iPhone and standard candy bar phone. Very funny, very sarcastic, yet I think it’s creative. Samsung is getting more and more bad boy right now.

How To Untethered Jailbreak iOS5 iPhone 4 Easily – Jailbreaking the Apple iPhone is a good thing to me, not because of supporting pirated, but it allows me to open up the potential of the phone, as well as customize the phone like theme and ringtone and get out of the iOS’ walled-garden.

Recently, the latest iOS 5 (5.0.1) can be jailbroken in untethered mode, meaning that user will not need to jailbreak everytime they restart the phone with a tethered-mode. However, this applicable to only iPhone 4, iPod touch 3G, iPod touch 4G, iPhone 3GS, but not the iPhone 4S yet.

1. Download the latest version of RedSn0w from here.

2. Then download the 5.0.1 firmware from Apple. Place them in a same folder so you can find it easily later. (Note: If you are already on 5.0.1, you do not need to download the firmware.

3. Connect you iDevice, iPhone to your computer, launch iTunes.

4. Launch redsn0w application from the redsn0w that you have just downloaded earlier. (Run it in in executable mode as an administrator in Window Vista compatibility. You can do this by right clicking the file and select Properties).

5. In redsn0w, click the Jailbreak button.

6. Follow on screen instruction of redsn0w. It will guide you to DFU mode for jailbreak.

7. Wait for iPhone to reboot, then check Install Cydia options and click Next.

8. Wait for iPhone to reboot again and you are done. You will see Cydia on the Springboard.

Malaysia iPhone 4S Launch On 16 December 2011 - After the long wait, the new Apple iPhone 4S will be landing in the Malaysia land on 16 December 2011. Celcom confirmed the release on 16th December 2011, while Maxis and DiGi do not shows the exact date yet.

The new iPhone 4S features the same design as the iPhone 4 but with improvement in the CPU (Apple A5 dual core), a new 8mp camera, as well as the featured Siri on iOS5.

It will be available on 3 telco, Maxis, DiGi and Celcom. Maxis currently launched the Registration Of Interest page for the iPhone 4S while DiGi and Celcom put up a teaser on their website.
