For all the time when Apple reintroduce the white plastic MacBook, I never put that in mind, I wouldn’t introduce friends to get a MacBook. But now with their latest revision, they’ve upgraded the processor and the GPU (Graphic Processing Unit) and promises a 10-hour battery life, it’s a good buy obviously for only US$999 (US$950 after education store discount).

It’s not very expensive and what I love the most is still the 10-hour battery. I am using a 2008 White MacBook and the battery life I got is like 4 hours only. It’s already better than my netbook and if it could be longer, it will be so damn awesome for me! Though, my next buy will of course go to the pro. =)

I went around PC Fair and I saw a lot of netbook at there. I am so not interested in netbook right not because I have got my lovely Aspire One, which I bought it last year when it first release. Buying a netbook right now is a headache because there’s so many brands are offering it, it’s not like last time when netbook, the word first came to us, it’s only Asus and Acer. Later then company compete to release their netbook and this competition sucks because everyone offers almost the same thing.

I thought Dell Mini 9 has discontinued? If you are looking for Dell, Dell Mini 12 is good, but the battery life not so good.

These are the new Lenovo S10 2.

Touch screen Asus EEE PC which doesn’t fancy me. I don’t like touch tablet unless the screen is very sensitive.

The one on the far right seems good.
Have to say sorry because I didn’t really hands-on and test drive all the netbook around, I just went around, look and take photos. Anyway, I got some guide for you for choosing netbook, do take note about these:
- Battery life (at least 6 hours)
- HDD Capacity (at least 120GB)
- RAM (at least 1.5GB)
- Screen size (at least 10.1 inch)
- Weight (less than 1.2kg)
- Preferably with 3G slot built in even if you don’t have 3G data, you may have one in the future.
- Bluetooth and card reader.
After looking around, Acer and Lenovo seem to have some nice model.

The world thinnest laptop is not the MacBook Air or the Lenovo X300, it’s Dell’s latest Adamo XPS. It’s now out in their online store, selling for RM6999 in Malaysia.
I wonder how did they do it, making it so slim, yet powerful and have point 1 inch bigger than MacBook Air. The most interesting part is opening the latch, it’s different from any laptop out there. You swipe your finger on a capactive bar, and a blue lights will indicate the Adamo XPS is open. Pretty cool right?

Unfortunate for the US because they can get it from December 22 while we, living Asia can get it directly from the online store.
Wonder why will Apple revise and redesign their MacBook Air, will they?

My brother just came back from Singapore and he bought home all of his gadgets and only left a Dell 22″ in his dorm in Singapore.

A powerful business Vaio SZ. Lightweight, powerful, high performace and beautiful.

An Asian version of PlayStation 3 40GB. I am not really interested with the games, he got Grid, Assassin Creed, Dragonball, Civilization, Tom Clancy:Hawk, Fifa Street 2, Army of 2 and Lumines Supernova and Flower in the hard disk. I like Flower and Luminues Supernova, it’s mini game and simple which = to fun.
The TV is a Samsung 32″ 720p HD TV, unfortunately it’s not full HD.

White 2.4Ghz MacBook. It’s an all time beauty. I love Mac but I am still waiting to get one. Perhaps I will have one when I go into college next year. The clock is a Pixel Saturn II clock what I bought in Guangzhou for 190RMB. Pretty right?
