It’s Apple WWDC10 right now, happening at San Fransisco, lots of Apple update for the fans out there. I woke up today morning and prompted a system update on my Mac. After the update, I found out that my Safari has upgraded to latest version 5.

Apple is so much supporting the HTML5 platform right now and it’s one of the new feature in Safari 5. Another feature that worth to check it out is the Safari Reader, it allows you to read online articles in a continuous, clutter-free view.
My 2 cents: Frankly, I seldom use Safari browser on my Mac. I only use Safari on the iPhone, I still prefer other browser like the Firefox because there’s more add-on which enhance my surfing experience. Do you use Safari?

Do you feel annoying when people press the Nudge button on MSN? Frustration, annoying, that’s what comes back in your mind. I am not teaching you to revenge, (a little bit), but I am teaching you how to do more, Nudge when they Nudge you one time. I believe many people out there already know the tricks, but just of mind of sharing with those who still have no idea. It’s only a patch install into your computer which tricks MSN/Live Messenger to think that you surpass the waiting time for another Nudge.
There’s 2 way. One which doesn’t work for me, not sure about you, but you can try it. This was the way I uses long time ago, but it’s not working for me on my Windows 7, no idea why.

(1) Go to Apatch website, and (2) download Apatch, the file is very small. (3) Unzipped, and start patching. There’s other feature in Apatch, so you can check it out yourself, look for one which says (4) Remove Nudge Delay, and that’s the one which allow you to Nudge many many times.

Way number 2 is using a Script for Messenger Plus. Some people have Messenger Plus addon with their MSN and some don’t, I recommend this addon as with this, you can again, addon more stuff to your MSN. After (1) installing Messenger Plus for your MSN, or if you already have it, go (3) look for a Script called NudgesToolsScript. (4) Install the Script and remember to (5) enable it.
You are ready to Nudge(s). =)

Ever jealous of some great toy camera, tilt shift, lomography camera applications on the iPhone? Yes, I do and very do. I hate why Android doesn’t have such cool camera app. Though, no dissapointment, there’s still one free camera application for Android which give you lomography effect and more like polaroid framing, fisheye and more!

Best part of all, it’s free and many choices of effect. Easy to use too. Just install it and pick your effect, then point and shoot.

I only use the Toy Camera effect but one thing that I don’t like is that, the effect still not very close to a real lomography and somehow I feel the app on iPhone is better than this. Anyway, better than nothing, download this and install on your Android now, it’s a must have!

Chinese really makes good pirated stuff, pirated phone, pirated DVD, fake Blu-Rays. They love making copyright infringement stuff but somehow, everyone like it. At first, it was PPS online streaming player, which streams whatever movie and TV series.

Now I found another one called 酷我音乐盒 Ku Wo Music Box. It streams Chinese music and music of other languages too. You can either stream it or download it into your computer and listen it later. Rocks man.

You can find almost any music there. I use it to stream Chinese music mostly.

And it has live lyric synced with the music so you can singalong.

Another feature is streaming music video of a song, but then not all song has music video streaming, some only. It still very cool though. I like this program.
So sorry for English-educated or people who doesn’t read Chinese, same like PPS, the whole software is in Chinese. More Chinese software to be introduced soon. If looking from the legal side, this software is against the copyright law, but no one cares, yet. Use it wisely, for personal use and not for commercial. =)

If you don’t want to pay for Nero, the famous burning program, you can try Free Easy CD DVD Burner which does the same thing. You can use it to burn data, copy disc, burn image file and more.

As for me, I use it to burn image file onto a disc because the built in burning software in Windows 7 doesn’t burn image file so what I found is this Free Easy CD DVD Burner.

Yesterday, I went to the mall to shop for RAM. My MacBook originally comes with x2 1GB RAM in total of 2GB. Now I am running more stuff inside like VMWare and multitask a lot so I need the RAM to go to the max. Wonder why Apple don’t want to put in 1 2GB instead of 2 1GB. I have to extract the 2 1GB and throw it aside not using it and get 2 2GB RAM.

There’s some problem occur yesterday when buying RAM. MacBook couldn’t turn on after installing 2 800 MHz DDR2 SDRAM and only 667 MHz works.

The person who help me insert the RAM was kinda un-tech conscious (n00b?) because he didn’t know where’s the RAM slot is. Maybe he works too much with PC and not the Mac. Took him sometimes to figure it out and insert the thing. Luckily I didn’t buy the RAM and insert it myself, else I would have to go back to change to 667 MHz again. A piece of 2GB RAM cost me RM180 (~56USD), not so cheap though.
After upgrading, the system is obviously faster, especially on the start-up and when running dual OS via VMWare. =)
