Downloading YouTube’s videos is more easy than you thought. I am familiar with many computer software and tips, but when it comes to downloading YouTube’s video, I was not that good at it, because I am not a fan of saving -YouTube’s-video-on-the-computer-and-watch-it-later. Many of my friends love downloading video off from YouTube for the pleasure of viewing it later, but I prefer to stream it right away. Just because that I have to work on a video project lately, I have learned how to download YouTube videos off the net.
If you try to Google about ‘Download YouTube Videos’, you might came across quite a number of the app requires you to buy their license key, or in short – sharewares. Downloading YouTube’s video is suppose to be free and you need to pay any cents to it.
Here are the 2 ways that I use to download YouTube videos:
- Free YouTube Download by DVDVideoSoft – Software for the Windows users. Install it, open the app and paste the YouTube link into it. It downloads the maximum resolution in MP4 format (suitable for video editing), or you may convert it to various format like AVI and WMV. The software also adds a ‘Download’ button below the YouTube video when viewing on the browser, a click will bring you straight to this software.
- KEEPVID – (Suitable for Mac) No software installation. Copy and paste the link and you can choose various type and size of downloadable version of the YouTube’s videos like HD, normal quality, *.mp3, or *.flv. If you are on Mac and has no Java installed, click on the Beta button at the bottom of the page.
