The signature, and the most-click button of all time – the Start button of Windows is making a come back in the coming Windows 8.1 update. Many people still doesn’t know that the latest OS by Windows – Windows 8 has removed the Start button and the access to Start menu is by moving the mouse to lower left corner and click on it, or on the other way, press on the Start button of the keyboard.
However, it is currently unknown that the Start button will brings up the Start Menu or Metro Start, somehow it makes me believe that it will still bring us to the Metro Start page because Microsoft is serious in redesigning the whole Windows experience.
On the other hand, there will be an option to allow us to boot directly into desktop instead of the Metro Start page which is a joy because for 99 percent of my times, I am on the Desktop page. The Metro Start just doesn’t works well on the desktop or laptop, it’s more a tablet UI for easy navigation around apps.
Well, the best part of all that the Windows 8.1 (codename Windows Blue) update will be free for Windows 8 user, like me. Great!
